Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Early access requests. When you submit the "Request early access" form, we collect:

• Your email address
• The optional free-text answer to "what do you build?" (if you choose to provide it)

Automatic / analytics data. Like most websites, our site loads basic analytics and font resources to understand usage and render correctly. This may include:

• IP address (typically only in truncated or aggregated form via our analytics provider)
• Browser type, device type, and general location (country/region level)
• Pages viewed and referring site

We do not use this data to build individual behavioral profiles for advertising purposes, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

Account data (once the product launches). If you sign in to use the editor (email/password or "Continue with Google"), we collect the email address and any profile information provided by the authentication method you choose, plus data you create in the product (cabinet designs, component libraries, project files). This section will be expanded with full detail before public launch.

• Early access emails: retained until you're onboarded or until you ask us to delete them, and in any case no longer than 12 months if we never contact you.
• Account and project data: retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after closure for backups, unless you request earlier deletion.

4. Who we share it with

We use third-party service providers to run the site and product, for example:

• Hosting / site infrastructure providers
• Email delivery providers (to send you the early-access notification)
• Authentication providers (e.g. Google, if you choose "Continue with Google")

These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate data protection agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

If any provider is located outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for the transfer.

5. Your rights (EU/EEA users and others with equivalent rights)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing carried out before withdrawal)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

6. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies and local storage needed for basic functionality (for example keeping you signed in and remembering your language and editor preferences). These do not require consent.

We also use privacy-friendly, aggregated usage analytics. Where such analytics set non-essential cookies or similar identifiers, we ask for your consent before they are loaded, as required by GDPR/ePrivacy rules for EU visitors. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site or contacting us at hello@opak.hu.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Panel Designer is a B2B professional tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops (for example, once account data, billing, and project storage are fully live). We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify early access users by email.
